About this piece
Bringing Islamic calligraphy into the physical space through 3D printing allows for a beautiful fusion of tradition and modern technique. I created this 3D-printed panel of Surah Al-Fatiha to explore how modern manufacturing can elevate traditional artwork into a vibrant, multi-layered piece. The bold contrast of the raised metallic gold calligraphy against the deep emerald green backdrop brings the verses to life far better than a flat print.Multi-panel tiling allows for a large-format display piece while preserving crisp line details in every diacritic and curve. It Includes built-in mounting hooks on the back, allowing you to hang it securely flush against the wall right out of the box.
