Aniconism is the current that drives my work. Through it, I channel Malay artistic traditions into a contemporary language, resonating with the rhythm of modern human life. My vision is for painting to become not just an object of admiration, but a living presence within people’s homes and daily existence. My art is rooted in the philosophy of struggle — the spirit of resilience that refuses surrender. The colors I employ are vibrant yet remain grounded in spiritual discipline. To me, all things are lifeless, imperfect; expression is poured not into figures, but into colors and symbols familiar to our shared lives. I paint with tone and with cry, translating emotion into visual form. Each composition is not merely an image, but a dialogue of existence — a confrontation between humanity, space, and meaning that endlessly unfolds.
