Lord Ganesha — remover of obstacles, the symbol of wisdom, strength and new beginnings. 🕉️🐘✨

I created this piece as a sacred ritual, a way to honor the tradition of Prathama Pujya—where we bow to Ganesha before embarking on anything new. Working with oil, I layered rich graphite tones and carefully lifted highlights across his trunk, crown, and eyes, transforming each brushstroke into an act of meditation. Those quiet mornings in my studio, surrounded by incense and whispered prayers, became the heartbeat of this work. Every detail matters here—from the intricate jewelry to the gentle warmth in his gaze. I deliberately composed his Abhaya Mudra, that raised hand of fearlessness, to offer silent reassurance to anyone who looks upon him. The soft, blended shadows create a mood of profound serenity and protection, designed to settle the mind and ease anxious hearts. This painting speaks to anyone seeking clarity before a new chapter, or simply needing a reminder that they are seen and safe. It's meant to be a spiritual anchor in your space—a companion through transitions and challenges.
